Excellent service and fantastic product that truly delivers more than expected. Thank you Kybun for bringing back the joy to my walks.
Excellent from start to finish. These shoes ARE like walking on those soft rubber floor mats that chefs (OR anyone who's on their feet all day) use....You know the ones i mean. They are soft and spongy. I read that someone likened them to walking on tiny trampolines. It IS almost like that and you need to maintain your balance while wearing them! These shoes actually work your leg muscles a bit, (just with keeping your balance)......something I have never experienced with other shoes. These are also really well made and top quality. I just wish they didn't come up quite so high on the ankle. But after I have had them on for a while i soon forget about that.
I am still getting used to these shoes, the feeling of walking on springs and always pushing me forward - sometimes into tripping. Is this normal? They are good on hard walking surfaces, tracks and lanes, but dodgy on the fields around me where the surfaces are very rough, and sometimes I have gone over on my ankle. I am still getting the burn under the balls of my feet despite having supports under the arches as suggested by my podiatrist. Would love any suggestions from you?
The shoe was beautifully made lovely leather but first size too big so ordered a 5.5 which was fine but still too wide even though this isn't classed as a wide shoe. Also one of my feet kept falling off the out side edge at the back so sadly these are not for me.
While these shoes do indeed feel like walking on air, this sets up other problems as i have discovered. I began to feel pain building up in my left leg all the way from my ankle to above the knee as the musculature struggled to cope with this new experience. i stopped wearing the shoes at Christmas and the pain has very gradually subsided to one spot on the outside of my calf muscle. The pain is strong enough to interfere with my sleep. I have returned to wearing my normal walking footwear and have stopped limping over the last couple of weeks. Maureen
Dear Maureen Thank you very much for your feedback. May we ask you how long did you wear the shoe before your mentioned pain began? It may happen that the musculoskeletal system reacts after walking on the soft-elastic sole. It shows that the muscles have to work more than they did before on normal shoes. For beginners it is important to not exaggerate the time of wearing. Wear the shoe as long as you feel comfortable. If you feel any discomfort please take a break and try again later or the other day.
