These Kybun shoes are quite remarkable. They have helped enormously with my back problems and their comfort Is second to none. I was slightly daunted by their rather heavy look until my younger more fashionable friends expressed 100% approval and thought they looked really ‘cool’.
These boots fit well, even though I have wide feet. They are very comfortable and warm and great to walk with. They take the ground shock and are like walking on a soft cushion. They really help my back and knees.
The first few times I wore the boots were not a pleasant experience at all! It felt like walking on the deck of a ship negotiating heavy seas! I think it's because of adaptation to using a crutch for a long time and losing my natural proprioception. I spoke to a friend who is an osteo-physio who suggested I tried gentle bouncing on a rebounder for a week or so to aid in balance improvement and then try the boots again. Gradually, the unsteadiness got less and I mostly wore the boots around the house and garden before I got the confidence to go for walks. It is much better now, and the exercises for knees that are included on your website have also been invaluable in achieving much better mobility with much less pain. I have a goal of wearing the boots for a full day by the end of this month, and anticipate increasing enjoyment in the future.
These are my second pair of Kybuns after buying a pair of trial lace up shoes. The boots are more trendy and very comfortable as expected. However I have noticed that there is often a noise like a puff of air escaping from the right boot when I walk and I can feel it too under the arch of my foot. These are not a trial pair and cost a lot of money so I am rather disappointed although I don’t think it affects the performance of the boot and it is expensive to return them. I bought another pair in a different style at the same time and this ‘problem’ is not apparent in these or the first trial pair that I bought.
Bought these hoping for comfort and I am not disappointed! I have not managed to find a more comfortable winter shoe in years and years. Also added bonus of being told that for once my footwear is “on trend” !
